Dyson DC05 Motorhead

This is my new Dyson DC05 Motorhead. This was Dyson's first power nozzle canister, launched in 1999. Very compact and lightweight! The hose and Motorhead shown in this video were brand-new. The Motorhead only arrived this morning, and neither had touched carpet until I made this video. The cleaner has three settings: one turns on the suction motor only, for cleaning hard floors and delicate carpets. One turns on the suction motor and the Motorhead. The last turns on the Motorhead only, at half-speed, for efficient distribution of Dyson's 'Zorb' dry-cleaning powder. As you can hear from the video the DC05 is very quiet, as is the Motorhead itself. It has a lot of power, and the Motorhead, although not terribly aggressive, does a very good job of picking up dust, dirt, pet hair etc. It grooms the carpet well, and brings up the pile. The clear bin was quite full, despite the fact that I'd vacuumed the house on two days previously.
